Speech-Language Pathologists
Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are health care professionals who evaluate and treat for stuttering, aphasia, communication disorders, articulation disorders, language disorders, and dysphagia (swallowing). We have Speech-Language Pathologist that work in the local Omaha and surrounding areas, as well as in our Pediatric (Kid*Ability) and Max*Ability Clinics.
Occupational Therapists
Occupational therapists help people across the lifespan to participate in activities they would like to do and need to do for everyday living. Some of our occupational therapy interventions include retraining individuals in activities of daily living, muscle re-education, equipment consultation, home safety assessments, visual/perceptual and sensory training. Our OT's have extensive knowledge and experience in these areas and are ready to serve your needs!
Physical Therapists
Physical therapists (PTs) are professionals in health care who diagnose and treat people from infancy through the lifespan.
Our PT staff provides expertise in teaching patients functional mobility inside and outside their homes, including instruction in gait training with appropriate assistive device.
We assess the need for any home modifications necessary to improve patient safety or function, and the ability to walk on all surfaces in and outside of their homes.
We teach our patients how to safely perform transfers from all surfaces, stair training, balance training and instruction in exercises for strengthening and range of motion to increase independence & safety.
We provide patient and caregiver education in all of these areas to continue once we are no longer actively involved in their care.
